Hello! My name is Jacob Daines and I’m aspiring to be an I.T. professional. I have been pursuing CompTIA certificates to gain more technical knowledge. I work a help-desk job for an ISP as a Tier 2 agent. I also work on projects within my home-lab, which helps me gain some hands-on learning with computer technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education<\/span><\/strong>
I spent some time learning at Bridgerland in a class designed for passing the first half of the A+ exam. After that, I shifted towards a self-study strategy instead. By using online resources and text books, I was able to get the second half of my A+ certification, and my Network+ certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that I’ve been working in the field of technology for about half a year, I have a greater understanding of what it’s like to work in an I.T. position and I’m constantly learning new things about technology everyday. I still rely on my self-study strategy to give me additional opportunities to tackle in-depth projects and gain more experience. I hope to use this website as an extension of my resume, to demonstrate the things I’ve accomplished to my employers.
