{"id":6,"date":"2023-05-31T02:14:24","date_gmt":"2023-05-31T01:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jake-cache.000webhostapp.com\/?p=1"},"modified":"2023-05-31T02:14:24","modified_gmt":"2023-05-31T01:14:24","slug":"hello-world-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jake-cache.tech\/?p=6","title":{"rendered":"My Skillset"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I understand everything defined within CompTIA&#8217;s (A+) &amp; (Network+) standards, but I still wanted to list out some of the things I can practically accomplish in the real world.  <br>I hope this gives any future employers an idea of my relative skill level as a newcomer in the field of I.T.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>PC assembly &amp; basic repair.<\/td><td>Chose correct hardware for a system: (RAM, CPU, Mobo, PSU, etc).<\/td><td>Port Forwarding &amp; assigning static IP&#8217;s.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Format storage drives.<br>Use correct file systems for different situations. <\/td><td>Automate simple tasks in Task Scheduler.<\/td><td>Use Windows utilities like Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, etc.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>7 Step malware removal.<br><\/td><td>Adjust basic firewall rules and granular rules. <\/td><td>Create a NAS.<br>Create network shares &amp; modify permissions.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Basic printer maintenance &amp; cleaning (Laser, Inkjet, Thermal).<\/td><td>Troubleshoot common hardware, display, storage, printer &amp; network issues.<\/td><td>Create basic RAID arrays &amp; monitor their health\/status.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Clone\/migrate systems into new hardware. <\/td><td>Fix and install drivers.<br>Backup &amp; upgrade firmware.<\/td><td>Manage a system using SSH. (Windows, Linux)<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Create basic scripts. <br>Create intermediate scripts with help from an AI.<br>&#8211; Mostly .py, .sh, .bat, <br><\/td><td><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Operating systems I use:<\/span><br>&#8211; Windows<br>&#8211; Android<br>&#8211; Linux (Debian, Ubuntu)<br>&#8211; ChromeOS<\/td><td>Understand compatibility issues between different operating systems. <\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Create a network printer. <br>Troubleshoot common printer errors, spooler problems, etc.<\/td><td>Adjust PATH variables for specific applications. <\/td><td>Configure advanced router settings.
